I just got off the phone with Fitz and he mentioned that Becca and his video project “The Love Letter” had just been completed and is now live. Fitz is another person that I have had the honor of meeting this past year and has been another source of inspiration to draw from. When we finally met face to face this past summer it was just before he and Becca would venture off on their dream trip of traversing through the Sierras while trying to climb new and old routes. I didn’t know what to expect going into this 12:00 minute video, I figured it would be a creative timeline of their events documenting what they climbed with elaborations on their accomplishments and hardships. Instead I found it to be an exploration of mind, emotion and thought. Through the beautiful vistas, provocative words and moody music it transferred me into a place of yearning to explore internally and externally by unplugging, getting out and partaking in the wilderness that surrounds us all.

Of course the scenery in the Sierra is wonderful, but the words from Fitz and Becca are simply beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
