I have wanted to partake in a photo competition for quite some time and just recently I found out I was selected to participate in this years Salt Lake City Shootout. I leave this coming Monday and will be going up against a very intimidating and talented group of 8 other photographers over the course of next week, many of which I have looked up to for inspiration for numerous years. Check out the details on how it works here. I will try and post updates over the course of the week. Also there is a people’s choice award that is given out to the photo that gets the most votes on their Facebook page. Funny thing is I don’t have a Facebook account (ironic I know) so I will need all of you to do some serious voting and campaigning for me…
