This time of year anywhere east of Western Washington is extremely gorgeous as all the deciduous trees change into their fall shades. Even the NW has some fall color, but nothing in comparison to the bright colors that Aspen & Cottonwood trees turn into. I spent some time over the five days I was there taking smaller, closer details shots of the environment that we were immersed in. I usually just look at the big, open scenic photos but to pay closer attention to the details opens up a whole different world.
