Earlier this week a friend & I were up in the Cascades unsuccessfully trying to complete a route.  After getting off route on some chossy loose rock and thunderheads building we decided to retreat and rappel back down to safer ground.  From about 4-10pm that day thunder and lightning hammered much of the Northern Cascades.  Quite the show; by far one of the most consistent lightning storms I have ever been a part of in the Northwest…anyway here is a shot that was taken during the descent.
