One thing that I came away with after visiting Sayulita & getting away on what I would definitely call a strictly unambitious relaxing vacation for the first time in a while was enjoying the regular snapshot again. Taking photos just out of pure enthusiasm, freedom and enjoyment. The way it was when I had my first SLR and I took photos just because I loved to not because I am a “photographer” and need to. Always good to take a step back. One of my highlights during this time down there was just walking the streets alone with camera in hand, talking my jumbled Spanish, meeting the local people and trying to immerse myself the best I could in what is their lives. Truly a beautiful, open, & caring culture of people.
