Washington’s winter weather has been extremely confusing. Last week a total 11+ inches fell up at Mount Baker, the last day snow fell was the previous Monday. Six days have passed and yesterday’s snow conditions were pretty incredible, dry, light fluffy powder was found all over northerly facing slopes. I headed up there to meet with Zack Giffin and Sheldon Steckman for a day of photographs in the sun… unfortunately the morning sun was taken over by clouds and intermittent snow for the rest of the day. Zack and Sheldon went big throughout the day and due to being continually impressed by their aerobic skills my shutter button was being clicked constantly. As constantly as my shutter was being clicked, my throat was also constantly getting more and more sore. So here I am the next day, a perfect blue sky and hopes of skiing with Bridget diminished by a lovely head-cold. On the bright side I am already putting up a few snapshots & sequences from the day. Cheers!
