Seeing how it was a beautiful, crisp, sunny fall Sunday, Bridget, Heather, and myself went for a hike up Church Mountain. What better to do on a Sunday? This hike is about 40 miles out of town and takes you up 4,000 feet in 4 miles, no messing around on this one it just goes up. Anyway it did not disappoint and I am feeling more refreshed than usual today. Due to so many weekends kayaking over the last month+ my usual summer activities of hiking & climbing have taken a backseat and the itch was indeed getting worse and Church Mountain gave me some much needed relief.
